Owner/PetStylist
Doggo Den was created as a pet grooming studio to provide a flair to pet grooming as well as keeping the pets care a priority. The environment is more personal for each pet to allow for a loving and respectful experience.

I have been a Pet Stylist pampering doggos in Williamsburg for 11 years now. The pet grooming industry continues to go unregulated but I continue to tackle this issue by remaining up to date on proper safety and specialized training certifications. I am AKC S.A.F.E. as well as CPR certified. I am consistently attending seminars, conferences, and courses to stay up to date on proper coat care, pet illnesses & diseases, as well as behavior techniques for properly handling more difficult pets. I am also currently in process of obtaining my National Master Groomer Certificate.

I have been an animal lover from a very young age but as an older adult I pursued my hobby of computers as a career. After college I took a job part time as a bather and never thought I would find my true calling. Putting my Bachelors degree in Computer Science aside I continued my career to become a Certified Pet stylist and later a Pet Grooming business owner. I am excited to be able to provide a space for both Pet Stylists and doggos to feel comfortable in. I believe every pet should be treated as they are my own and should feel like they are comfortable and safe as if they were at home.

Diana
PetStylist
My name is Diana Butler. I'm a 35 year old mother, groomer of 15 years, and lover of all animals which started at an early age. Growing up, not only did I take on all of our dogs' grooming needs, my love of animals drew me into a lifelong journey of being a vegetarian at 11 years old.
In 2007, I came across a mobile grooming position that offered all the professional training I needed. I found my passion. After years of constantly being on the go, I moved away and decided to try my hand at cosmetology. I still could not step away from my love of grooming. I continued to make house calls and even did a little out of my home.

In 2017, I finally went back to grooming full time at a private salon. When the business was sold in 2019, I partnered with a long time grooming friend of mine to start our own business. Later that year I joined the world of corporate grooming for a few years which led me to where I am today.

Having dipped my toes in almost every aspect of the grooming industry, I aspire to groom in a calm setting where I can go at the dog's pace. My main focus will always be on quality, safety, and comfort while continuing my education in the skills of dog grooming.
Madison
PetStylist
My name is Madison Martin. I am 23 years old and have lived in New Kent, VA all my life. I’m an animal & nature lover. I’ve had the opportunity to be a pet parent to dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, and aquatic animals. My parents raised me to always go a step above and beyond to educate myself on the animals in my care so I still carry that belief into my work and life to this day. My favorite pastimes are spending time in nature, spending time with my animals, and diving head-first into whatever art project I can get my hands on.
I got my first bathers position at a corporate store in 2020. This is where I was offered the knowledge and professional training to move forward with grooming. I worked alongside some of the best groomers I could have asked for during that time. As an artist myself, I couldn’t help but think of the canine anatomy as a stone statue just waiting to be chipped and chiseled into a work of art. I truly became obsessed with the whole process of grooming. Each step plays a crucial role in the final product of a top-quality groom.
I have been officially dog grooming for over a year. I took a break from the corporate space to pursue my own small business as an artist. My passion for grooming couldn’t be put on hold and I was becoming anxious to get my hands back on my grooming tools. Plus, I missed my coworkers and the connections I made with clients while working at home alone 24/7.
In my professional opinion, I believe that the health, safety, and comfort of dogs should and will always remain my priority. It is incredibly important to me that I will continue to seek knowledge and education to grow my expertise in the dog grooming industry. While I am a perfectionist when it comes to a haircut, I will always put the well-being of your pet first.
Lex
PetStylist
My name is Lex Farruggio and I moved to Williamsburg, VA from New York in 2023. I’m 25
years old and I’ve been grooming for over 5 years. Growing up, I had a passion for animals and
art. I pursued my love of animals in high school where I studied animal science at a vocational
center. Here I learned about animal health and welfare, and had my first experience bathing and
handling animals.
After high school, I worked at a local pet store, where I learned grooming knowledge and
techniques. This was a great beginning to my dog grooming adventure and I have made some
lifelong friends along the way. I continued to groom dogs at a corporate store while attending
college, where I pursued my bachelors of fine arts in sculpting.
Art has always been a huge passion of mine, and my college experience allowed me to explore
this passion. It also gave me a new perspective on dog grooming. I'm able to incorporate my
artistic skills, while also getting to see amazing pups all day.
I love hearing new and fun ideas owners have for their pups. Whether that be a heart-shaped
corgi tail, or a cute top knot and bow; I’m down to give it a try! I always work with the dog and
make sure they are comfortable. I never want a dog to fear coming to the groomers, as it should
be a pleasant and relaxing day for them.

PetStylist
I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, having grown up with pets of all kinds. In fact, I began my dog grooming career at a very young age, when my beloved Schnauzer, Harry, needed a haircut about the same time that I needed to do a project for my middle school home economics class. That turned out well for both of us: Harry looked great and I received an A+ for my efforts. The rest, as they say, is history!

Between then and now, I have groomed all manner of dogs, purebred and mixed breed, large and small, ornery and compliant. I also have extensive experience in obedience training for dogs. This helps ensure that your dog’s groom visit is as comfortable as possible while allowing me to achieve the best results. My goal is to have your dog looking sharp and feeling great after a bath and haircut.
